Well it's official; the apartment is cleaned, my bags are packed, and the twenty-four hour countdown has begun.
We all woke up early this morning, as our bodies are used to getting up for work. Pretending to still be asleep, Sydney looked over and said, "ALI IT'S SNOWING!!!," and sure enough, Graf is covered in a few inches of snow! We've been following the weather report ever since, as we were informed that they shut down the airport if the snow is looking to be a challenge. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Mr. David and Andrea are planning on being here in a few hours to do final room inspections, check out our bike equipment, and give us the last few details before we leave for the airport. I'm leaving in the first group of people, which includes all my roommates and two friends from Vilseck. Although my flight doesn't leave until close to nine, everybody else leaves around six thirty, so I'll be able to say my goodbyes to them at their gate. Ugh. But... after that, I'm on a planeeee!
I fly from Nuremberg to Munich, Munich to North Carolina, North Carolina to Arizona, and lastly, Arizona to home.
It's going to be a LOOOOONG day but I'm excited to get home to see my family and spend the last hour or so with Jenny for our 22 birthday! :)
I'll see you all soooon!
