After several phone calls, hours searching the internet, and a littttttle bit of stress, we finally got everything figured out and we're going to PARIS this weekend!
We leave right after work tomorrow on an overnight train. We'll arrive in Paris around 9.30 in the morning and should be able to go straight to our hostel to drop off our luggage and then start exploring!
Thanks to previous Camp Adventure staff, we were given information about a two-day bus tour that makes nine different stops at the most popular sites around Paris: Notre Dame, Eiffle Tower, Versailles, etc. The bus allows you to get on and off as you please, so we'll be able to take our time looking at everything. We also bought tickets to go up the Eiffle Tower, so we plan on doing that around 10.30 PM on Saturday. We won't get to see the view in the daylight since it was already booked, but the lights of the city should be pretty amazing too.
I don't think I'll take my laptop, but I'll make sure to take lots of pictures!
I can't wait!!!

No Internet.
Soooo our internet stopped working in our apartment. It is strong enough to allow us to get on Skype chat, and if we're lucky, get on video chat, but otherwise, we got nothing. If I'm at home, then I'm usually signed into Skype, so feel free to chat with me on there! My Skype name is: ali.brown1817
Anyway, I'm currently sitting at an internet cafe that is on base, hoping to plan out our weekend travels. Since it's already Thursday night here, we have a few hours to plan it all. Talk about waiting until the last minute...Right now, a lot of the hostels, hotels, and trains are booked. Lame.
I have to get back to researching though, so I'll try and update you with what we decide to do. I won't be back online for a few days, so I'll post pictures and write again when I can.
I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend!
Everybody stay safe!
